A new standard in zero order waveplates has been established by Tower Optical – a 4” zero order waveplate. This super large zero order waveplate provides users with the ability to perform new techniques with large beam lasers. In addition, these waveplates are air spaced thus providing operation at higher power levels than contacted or cemented waveplates. Standard retardations of 1/4 and 1/2 wave are provided for each wavelength offered. Custom orders wavelengths from 355nm to 2021nm.
The mounting ring for the three inch zero order waveplate is heavy duty Aluminum, 4.5 inch diameter and 24mm thick to protect the dual plate Crystal Quartz waveplate. The crystal axis is shown as a scribe mark on the face of the ring. The waveplate is held in place with a retaining ring.
